    Awesome…I don’t mind a longer wait with stuff like this being added!

    A tier IV summoning not part of a class? Is this a first?

    I like adding a neutral reward. This looks like alignment will be a much more important part of the game finally. Having to work to keep yourself in a certain alignment box adds some interesting choices for the player I think.

    Yay! I like the Good specialization not being called Torchbearers: as said in the journal, not all Torchbearers are dedicated to good and vice versa.

    Cool that Rogue can have access to T4 unit (without Dwellings). Anyway I think I will stay with master Wild Magic.

    I just hope they add more spells and tier 4 units to existing specialisations. I need my dominating basilisk for earth. 😀

    HA i Knew it ! if they added fallen angels, there must be a “good” angels, not Exalted as some people was reffing to. Thank You Triumph for bringing my favorites units in the AoW:SM 😀 I hpe you’ll make perks opposite to each other (fallen and Arch Angel) so they can counter each other, basically who strikes first then win, like it was in AoW: SM 😉

    Hah! Called the Dark Angel being a Summonable TIV.

    To be fair, I wasn’t saying that there wouldn’t be “Good” Angels, but someone asked if we had Angelic units already and we do, the Exalted ARE Angels. They’re just not Arch-Angels, or Fallen Arch-Angels.

    Healing Essence: Destroys all corpses on the battlefield. All friendly units are instantly healed for 25hp and gain a happiness bonus. Needless to say Necromancers don’t like this spell.

    I guess how powerful this is will depend on how many Necromancer themed units are classed as “corpses”, as opposed to something else.

    I don’t think it will affect Necromancer units at all, but what it will do is destroy the bodies lying around the battlefield that Necromancers can use to summon units and heal/strengthen others. (Or cause to explode)

    The reason Necro Players wont like this is not that they have units that are classed as corpses but because they have units that interact with them (corpses = fallen units). So you take away their toys. Also people with resurgence won’t like this either, not to mention a 25 heal for all units is pretty solid itself, the casting costs for this are 30 CP minimum, I guess.

    As for the alignment specialization, I am still waiting for the general alignment change to make my final judgement. I don’t like how they force you to adapt a certain playstile (oposed to an approach that would concentrate on the consequences of having a certain alignment), but maybe the alignment specializations aren’t pickable like other specs but can be unlocked after spending a certain time with good/neutral/evil alignment? One thing that would support this theory are the tier IV summons … unless the mastery spheres will also get their tier IV summons, which would be awesome (btw this also makes the introduction of tier IV racial units more likely).

    Dunno, mb it will be cool – if summoned units in specialisations will be in different tiers. For examplie – torchbearers have only t4 unit, fire masters have t2 and t3 units.
    I just hope that the earth adept will have his own t 1-2 unit in adept lvl.
    And i REALLY hope they remove summon baby craken from water adept – in random map it is useless spell most of times. Water adept really need amphibious summon.

    This expansion really is going to be huge, wow.

    I didn’t expect 3 specializations in one expansion, new class, new faction, a lot of new stuff and changes to the old stuff, you guys are amazing. Seriously, who the f*ck is going the wait for this?

    Right now I think elemental masters are just too weak overall. You have to waste 2 specialisation points to get master and you dont even get a tier 4 summon for that? Seems silly to me.

    I figured a Good specialisation would be a thing to offset the Evil, but honestly i did not see a Neutral specialisation comming. Exciting news indeed.

    Right now I think elemental masters are just too weak overall. You have to waste 2 specialisation points to get master and you dont even get a tier 4 summon for that? Seems silly to me.

    If you get early fighter or even scout and then powerful t3 unit – thats not strong enough? IMHO its good if you must choose that you need – units for early domination or for strong late game.
    Btw most of online duels end before you can get t4 units. Sometimes you got 1-2, but game going to the end and they give you not that big impact. Yes, then you dont play duel (or play on on really huge map) they will be are really strong and powerful weapon. But its different strategies for different maps and games.

    P.S. But i still think that elemental spec. need a slight rework.

    It looks less like an arch angel and more like a wemon with wings.
    Brown armor for an arch angel?
    Not a white glowing armor of divine power?
    No flaming sword or atleast a weapon that doesnt look like a long knife on a dented metal stick.
    The fallen angel atleast looks like a being of evil and the cthonic guard look like it is made of stone.

    I dont know about you but i imangine arch angels too look like badasses.
    Not like beggers.

    Also:
    Keepers are fine.
    I just find the keeper of peace
    Uneccery and cheesy.
    Personal prefeer it if they just used keeper or torchbearer.
    But that is just me.

    You arent going to call them torchbearers but still use the torchbearer sign………
    Serious just grow a pair and call them torchbearers.
    Because right now there torchbearers in all but name.

    The problem now is, you have 3 specializations with tier4 summons which get it without much effort. Whereas for elemental mastery you have to commit 2 specialization points, thus limiting your options overall and your summons are still weaker than the ones of the 3 new specializations have? That just doesn’t make any sense.

    With all that news and other good stuff, it almost looks like we are getting a new game rather than just an expansion. Please tell us the release date now so we can sleep more calmly:-). Hopefully, the wait will be over prior to March…
