    Finally came the answer in fact threads.

    core issues that made the game not fun for me (in multiplayer) still exist

    . What I have described above also takes me want to play the game more, despite the fact that I really love this series. Game losing strategic component, and for me the most important thing. All too easy to capture, destroy, kill. balance in multiplayer mode, there is that, too disappointing.

    This post I encourage most respected developers to pay attention to these elements of the game and return like me and Neretissage interest in multiplayer part of the game. When people play for 20 hours on a single map they want to play a strategy, rather than DotA.

    p.s Once again I want to note that in other areas of the game developers have performed a great job.

    I think around 90% of all players play single player.

    This only confirms that the multiplayer game is not all good. Single player is stolen by pirates easily. On this better focus on the multiplayer game. Especially since the game is already more than enough interesting for a single game.

    I think their main goal should be to release a solid foundation before going on with other projects

    I think it’s a sad experience for both players and developers. Better when the game live: tournaments, there are regular updates and so on. All of this ultimately gives developers more money on the development of the game.

    Shame not more people see this great gem, but maybe it will change when Necromancers are released in April!

    I think that the new DLC interesting and will help attract new fans. But it seems to me that after his release to throw all forces on the balance of the game. This should improve the multiplayer mode. It is very important for the community strategy.

    Which is why the OP’s suggestions aren’t very useful. AoW offers a certain style of gampelay to players who like that style. Suggesting that it should be a different game, offering different things is rather pointless.

    AOW playing style changed between the parts. I just do not understand why we can not allow the retreat during the fight so that the part of your army preserved. A lot of generals threw their armies on the battlefield and ran safely. And so on all other issues.

    I think you just made many newbie mistakes during your game, and instead of trying to use better strategy, you are blaming devs and speaking of all this main army nonsense.

    I’m not a beginner and even participated in the tournament. I propose a question my competence is no longer affected. It’s not productive.

    . I frequently use about 20 full stacks of units on L and XL maps and even if I lose on some frontier, 4-5 stacks, there are still 15 left and I can counterattack!

    I reach your capital after 6 strokes after your defeat. and you lose the game. Who gave you time to build 20 stacks I do not understand. Probably the same player on defense as you are.

    I will explain why I started this thread. A few months later I played the game with an interesting and studied. Then I had a little break. Then break delayed. In the end, I realized that I just do not want to run on the map for more than 5 hours for a single battle. I want to play in the strategy, where you can lose one battle, but lose the war.

    You can retreat as an attacker.

    You surprised me, I did not know that so it is possible. (sarcasm) .What will happen to your army after you turn away? It will be destroyed. And why not retreat to defend themselves, and if you are not surrounded by your army? I would not write anything here if poorly played in multiplayer. The game ends when the kill your main army, or you destroy the enemy’s main army. All solved one big battle, and it’s not good.

    Use some imagination.

    I wrote about the fantasy itself. But this does not mean that the game can be done better and collect more fans around the world.

    The Civs and Totalwars are popular because they have been around a very long time with new games every year or two.

    They are popular not over it. They are popular because they are a real strategy, where a single defeat main army does not mean complete defeat in the game.

    I think AOB 3 successful game. It has a lot of good. I wrote about what to do, what would it became popular. IMHO

    You did not understand me, I guess. I support the idea that the game a losing battle does not mean the end of the game. And I’m only about a multiplayer game.

    Do not you agree that a major battle is everything? All multiplayer games that I played ended after one big battle between players. Such a strategy should not be. Should be an opportunity to retreat to regroup and so on. In Total War that’s all right.

    Normal epic battles make of AOB completely different game? Yes, it will become much more popular, but the mechanics will be the exact same.

    Great! Finally came though, what is the universe where we spend many more battles. Left is to put in a book of miracles. It is waiting for an update with option to disable observing multiplayer tactical combat between other players.

    Та как это пошаговая игра в ней нельзя передвигаться по карте пока это недоступно другому игроку. Так было всех предыдущих частях. Разработчики борются с этим и недавно объявили, что в одном из обновлений будет возможность смотреть на карту мира, однако двигаться все равно будет нельзя по понятным причинам.

    In this case, I think we do too fast conclusions need to play more. I do not think that in 3 years the team working on the game worked a little on the economy .

    The game appeals to many people on the forum, they just want to help make it even better. I think the game has already success, but thanks to a triumph team we are able to make it the best TBS game of all time.

    SUPER! editor looks great! people are now employed by the game, but then the editor will be a very important part of the game. I think steep editor allows the game to be popular for much longer. You did a very beautiful game. Thank you guys.
    For me, as a lover of the multiplayer, game balance and the map editor are the most important things.

    I disagree with you. Balance does not make the game boring (starcraft etc). Solve problems of balance in the game can be a variety of ways. The main reason for the popularity of projects such as Starcraft is multiplayer and balance it. For the same reason, the first parts of AOW is not rocked the world.
    I think the game can do arcade mode and realistic.
    In any case, the path to world fame for the strategy is through multiplayer. And I’m one of those who love this game just for the multiplayer.
    Multiplayer gives an infinite number of game hours and large number of players. This would not make more than one company or a single game.

    This is a perennial problem AOW. All mods fix this in AOW2. It is not only between T4 and T1, but between T3 and T1

    Thanks for the answers!
    I conclude that I can play at maximum settings, just going to wait a little longer beginning of a new stroke or nothing not even notice. I hope I did pravlno conclusion :). All other parameters correspond to the recommended system.
